With more than 20 years’ experience as a financial advisor, John Briscoe joined the Convergence Financial team in the summer of 2019. John’s Missouri roots run deep. He developed a work ethic and common-sense approach as a young man working on his grandfather’s family farm before graduating from the University of Central Missouri in 1995. From there he attended law school at the University of Missouri—Kansas City prior to starting his professional career in Columbia in 1999.

John’s approach to investing starts with first taking time to understand his clients’ entire financial picture, unique situations and specific goals. Using the best resources, tools and research available, John then goes to work developing the right personalized wealth management plan with those goals in mind. It’s a process-driven strategy that gives his clients assurance and confidence that John is focused on their best interest at all times.

As die-hard St. Louis Cardinals and Mizzou Tigers fans through good years and bad, John and his wife Kristen along with their 8-year-old daughter Allison fill their summers and falls cheering on their two favorite teams from the stands whenever possible.
